Overview

Forma ("we", "our", or "the app") is a fitness tracking application. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

Data We Collect

Data Stored Locally (On Your Device)

• Workout logs (exercises, sets, reps, weights)
• Workout templates you create
• Profile information (age, height, weight, fitness goals)
• App preferences and settings

This data never leaves your device unless you create an account.

Data Stored in the Cloud (If You Create an Account)

If you choose to create an account, the following data is synced to our secure servers:

• Email address
• Workout history
• Profile information
• Custom templates

We use Supabase for secure cloud storage and authentication.

AI Coach Feature

When you use the AI Coach feature:

• Your profile data (age, weight, height, goals, experience level) is sent to our AI provider to generate personalized workout and meal plans
• We use Groq to process AI requests
• No personally identifiable information beyond fitness metrics is shared

How We Use Your Data

• To provide workout tracking functionality
• To sync your data across devices (if you have an account)
• To generate personalized AI workout and meal plans
• To improve the app experience

Data Sharing

We do NOT:

• Sell your personal data
• Share your data with advertisers
• Use your data for purposes other than providing the app service

We may share data with:

• Supabase (cloud database and authentication)
• Groq (AI processing for Coach feature)

Data Retention

• Local data: Stored until you delete it or uninstall the app
• Cloud data: Stored until you delete your account
• You can export or delete your data at any time

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Delete your personal data
• Export your workout data
• Use the app without creating an account

Children's Privacy

Forma is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Security

We implement appropriate security measures including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
• Secure authentication via Supabase
• No storage of payment information (handled by Apple)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app.

Apple App Tracking Transparency

Forma does NOT track you across other companies' apps and websites. We do not use any advertising identifiers or third-party tracking.

Health Data

Forma may optionally integrate with Apple Health to:

• Read workout data
• Write workout data

This integration is optional and requires your explicit permission. Health data is processed locally and never sent to external servers.
